LITAL™-99LS is an aggregate of high purityŁ¬low soda content(<0.1% Na₂O), well-sintered (≥1900ˇć) crystalline alpha alumina with its name derived from the plate-like or tablet-like crystal structure. The calcinations tend to bring tabular alumina excellent thermal shock resistance and spalling resistence by creating small closed air pores (≤10um) inside alpha alumina crystal.
